Job Description
Repairs Policy Officer [Standard CRB required] - Adult Services and Housing
[temporary, but potentially long term role – see below]

- What’s involved with this role:
The Stock Investment Section is responsible for strategic performance; financial direction and monitoring of Responsive Repairs delivery and as such works closely with the Responsive Repairs Section in Housing Management. Within the Stock Investment Section the Repairs Policy Officer fills a key role in supporting all the management information aspects of Repairs Policy Team strategic activities.
Specifically:
The post-holder will take a lead role on identifying, developing and maintaining the data management and information reporting framework and processes that ensure access to; maintenance and production of high quality data that supports delivery of the Stock Investment Service Plan.
Takes a lead role in providing management information advice and support to new work being undertaken within the Section and across divisions, e.g.:
- Responsive Repairs Review
- Devolution of Budget
- Lump Sum Pricing
The post-holder also takes a lead role in improving the availability of information for strategic use by Senior Managers and Divisional Directors.

- UK working experience

- Minimum of 12 months housing policy experience, preferably within a large (ideally public sector) organisation
- Microsoft Office skills

- Any local authority experience
- Any relevant qualifications held or being studied for
- Client: Public sector organisation
- Division(s)/Disciplines involved: Adult Services and Housing/Repairs/Policy
- Anticipated Length of Assignment: All of our roles are designated temporary, though in practice we find that the vast majority of them get extended on a multiple/long term basis. This one is expected to be for 6 months, initially.
- Hours per week: 35-37 (tbc) Monday – Friday, normal working hours
