Job Description
Our client is a private Very Sheltered Housing scheme located in Teddington, Middlesex. We are currently recruiting a Manager to manage the services that enable Owners to retain their independence and to sustain their lifestyle within a secure environment.
The role:
’ Responsible for ownersβ welfare and efficient and effective running of the scheme
’ Supervise, support and review performance of staff
’ Liaise with families, health professionals, contract services and agencies
’ To be involved in the resale of the apartments
’ 28 hours per week( Mon-Fri) contracted hours, hours of work can be negotiated
Requirements:
’ Some experience of looking after elderly people
’ Understanding the needs of elderly people
’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
’ The ability to cope in crisis and to motivate and develop your staff
’ Some experience in staff management and supervision
’ Good administrative skills
’ Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
