• What’s involved:

1. To manage and be responsible for the operation of the councils Commercial/Office waste and recycling service in line with SLA’s – budget over £2milliom

2. To be responsible for the marketing, development and promotion of the service, visiting commercial premises where no commercial waste/recycling agreement exists

3. To review the status of customer accounts, agree and advise on debt management and recovery, attending court as required.

4. To monitor and procure stocks of bins and supplies eg. 1100’s, commercial sacks, including procurement

5. To line manage temporary and fixed term staff commercial staff.

6. Manage and arrange the provision of waste and recycling at all commercial and charitable events, including inspection, assessment and pricing; arranging collection and waste disposal. Attending events outside normal office hours when necessary.
